Hi! Just a quick post about three works that are unfinished. I have so many ideas in my head that need to accomplished and lately I have had a big creative surge; like an art rocket has been strapped to me and is propelling me forward. Ha! That was pretty poetic, amirite??

I started this a while back and it is PAST time for it to be done! I have a lot of background work to do and color work. This one may take longer than the other two to finish. Can you guess who this is? Hint: he’s in a game people love, great at climbing, hunts and steals treasure, is about to have his story made into a film (FINALLY) and often says, “Oh, crap!!” and also, “Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap!!”

This is a new work partly inspired by awesome artworks I’ve seen by artists displaying their pieces on Instagram. I wanted to design a low-poly background. Originally I was going to show her complete face, but I did not like something about the right side (your left) of her face, so I decided to cover that portion of her face with low-poly structures. So now it’s got a post-modern look. In the art world, low-poly is hugely popular, now! Low-poly is so popular, now, that if low-poly was a girl it would probably get more boyfriends than Taylor Swift does. I have to finish adding more poly forms, more work to the hair (which is stylized in some areas with decorative line work) and color, then I’ll be finished.

This is a mock logo for New Orleans. The city is not changing its logo, but this is my imagining of a new logo. The main symbol of NOLA is the fleur de lis. Behind that are the petals and leaves off the magnolia, which is Louisiana’s state flower. The acronym “NOLA” I have designed to be similar to the magnolia’s petals. This visual relation helps to bind the image together. I have to add color next and it should be done!
I will of course post the finished works! Thank you for reading!
